the astrophotographer

Adam Evans is an amateur astrophotographer.  He spends clear nights freezing his ass off in the dark, swearing at streetlights, and taking astrophotos from his home-built backyard observatory in downtown Toronto, Canada.

His work has been featured in National Geographic BooksWikipedia, and on the cover of Sky & Telescope magazine (December 2012, print edition).  Adam is an occasional astronomy instructor with the Royal Ontario Museum and member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
